The iMapp
Advantage
One-stop,
comprehensive information about real estate properties: Other
applications may offer one or two of these elements; only IRIS
integrates public records data into a single, easy-to-use package.
In-depth and organized: IRIS organizes and displays data
on tab cards. Navigation is simple -
every piece of information is easily accessible. Anything displayed
in IRIS can be
printed, saved to disk, or copied into other Microsoft compatible
documents.
IRIS is a
Winsock-based Windows program. It will run on Windows95, 98, NT and
XP using almost any TCP/IP stack. If you're reading this on the
Internet and are using some form of Windows, it will probably work
for you right now.
Maps: The parcel map base is the heart of the IRIS
application. Each county parcel map base is built with digital maps
or digitized paper maps, which are linked to layers of geocoded
data.
IRIS's vector-based digital maps allow the user to
create truly custom maps with a variety of zoom levels and layer
configurations. Vector maps are also "intelligent" -- any
entity displayed on the map is identifiable. The standard IRIS
map base consists of parcel and street maps, with
additional layers on a case by case basis. These custom layers might
include building footprints, schools or utility line types.
When you select the map tab for a specific property, Iris draws a custom map
centered on that parcel. A variety of
tools to allow you to personalize the map and collect information on
the property in question:
| Unlimited zoom levels |
Select a zoom level between 1/100th of a mile (about 50
feet) and 3000 miles |
| Layer configuration |
Choose the icons and text layers to display when the map is
drawn. |
| Custom labeling |
Customize maps by displaying selected information
about a specific object or by inserting your own text |
| How Far To...? |
Display distance from the map center to
select points of interest such as schools, churches, police and
fire stations, etc. |
| Download map data |
Download data for a selected map area. You identify the
area and choose the data source - then our server downloads a
dBase file containing that information to your machine. |
| Measure |
Calculate the perimeter and area of a selected
map area |
In addition to these features, you can perform all standard map functions: move, magnify, zoom,
identify, search for address, etc.
